Tuesday, May 15: Wincanton & Killarney Daily Trixie : #1 Stole The Show (Wincanton, 3.20pm)

We have a couple of runners in the UK and one in Ireland in our Tuesday, May 15: Wincanton & Killarney Daily Trixie.

We start at Wincanton, where we have two big fancies, and the first is Stole The Show.

This six-year-old is a son of Mahler and is trained by Dr Richard Newland.

The Doc is firing at a 38% strike rate at present and has to be followed here.

Stole The Show was a winner at Fontwell earlier this month, and an impressive one at that.

In addition, he escapes a penalty for that win by running again so quickly.

We suspect he is primed to go in again and have to back him here.

Furthermore, Sam Twiston-Davies takes the ride and he knows this track well.

Tuesday, May 15: Wincanton & Killarney Daily Trixie : #2 Unioniste (Wincanton, 5.20pm)

The second leg of our Tuesday, May 15: Wincanton & Killarney Daily Trixie is also at Wincanton.

In the closing race of the day here we like Unioniste, and this one is an old favourite of ours.

Paul Nicholls has proved a master of turning his older stayers into solid hunter chase horses and Unioniste is a perfect example.

A winner of a Grade 3 in his pomp, Unioniste has now run in six hunter chases.

However, he has won three of them and two were here at Wincanton.

Small fields seem to be to his liking these days and this four-runner affair looks ideal.

David Maxwell takes the ride.

Tuesday, May 15: Wincanton & Killarney Daily Trixie: #3 Agent Zigzag (Killarney, 6.40pm)

We scoot over to Ireland for the last leg of our Tuesday, May 15: Wincanton & Killarney Daily Trixie.

Agent Zigzag is a four-year-old son of Shamardal and is trained by John Oxx.

He is incredibly well bred and has created a good impression on his track appearances so far.

He was third on debut at Limerick in April and also run well last time out.

That run, at Cork, saw him finish second to a good one.

However, he was only beaten a neck and the form looks decent.

We fancy he will shed his maiden tag here.

In addition, Colm O’Donoghue takes the ride and he is firing at a 19% strike rate.
