Tuesday, June 12: Lingfield, Roscommon & Southwell Daily Trixie: #1 Caribbean Spring (Lingfield, 6.50pm)
We travel far and wide for our Tuesday, June 12: Lingfield, Roscommon & Southwell Daily Trixie.
We start down in Lingfield, where Caribbean Spring looks a good thing.
This five-year-old is a son of Dark Angel and is trained by George Margarson.
This one is also entered at Yarmouth tomorrow, but is of interest if lining up here.
He doesn’t have the best turf form.
However, he does come into this race in flying form on the all-weather.
A second here at Lingers in April was followed up by two wins at Wolverhampton.
His turf mark is 1lb lower and he should take all the beating here.
In addition, Jane Elliott takes the ride and she has been in the saddle for those last three runs.
Tuesday, June 12: Lingfield, Roscommon & Southwell Daily Trixie: #3 The Devil’s Drop (Southwell, 7.40pm)
The second leg of our Tuesday, June 12: Lingfield, Roscommon & Southwell Daily Trixie runs at Southwell.
The Devil’s Drop is a five-year-old hurdler and is trained by Alan King.
He was running in novice hurdles last season and did not win.
However, he also did not finish out of the first four in four starts and was placed twice.
The Devil’s Drop made his handicap debut and was fifth at Ludlow.
However, he has had a wind op and that could be the missing ingredient.
In addition, Wayne Hutchinson takes the ride and he knows this horse well.
Tuesday, June 12: Lingfield, Roscommon & Southwell Daily Trixie: #2 Cadmium (Roscommon, 8pm)
The last leg of our Tuesday, June 12: Lingfield, Roscommon & Southwell Daily Trixie goes in Ireland.
Willie Mullins is a trainer in form and is firing at a 24% strike rate.
He runs Cadmium here and the six-year-old looks a cut above today’s rivals.
Purchased from France in November 2016, Cadmium has run five times for Mullins.
He won his only hurdle and also won on his second chase start.
Furthermore, Cadmium won last time out.
That run came in a value handicap at Punchestown in April and was impressive.
Back in novice company here, he is going to take a lot of stopping.
