Our daily double tips have been on good form this week and we have two nice looking bets at Ascot today.
The first leg of our Saturday, July 14: Ascot Daily Double runs in the opening handicap on the card.
Spring Loaded is something of a veteran of these big-field sprint handicaps.
The six-year-old son of Zebedee is trained by Paul D’Arcy and has also run well here before.
He was ninth in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot last month on his latest run.
However, that does not tell the full story as he was only three lengths off the winner.
In addition, that was his first run of the season so he is entitled to be fitter for that run.
Condtions look ideal and, in addition, the in form Adam Kirby takes the ride.
The second leg of our Saturday, July 14: Ascot Daily Double is Beat The Bank.
This four-year-old son of Paco Boy is also trained by a man in form.
Andrew Balding is firing at a 20% strike rate and can land another one with this fella.
Beat The Bank has raced twice this season and has been beaten both times.
However, both races were Group 1s.
And his latest effort, in the Queen Ann Stakes here at the Royal Meeting last month, saw him finish just a length off the winner.
This drop to Group 2 class should see him to better effect.
Also, Oisin Murphy takes the ride and he too is firing at a 20% strike rate.
