Monday, June 11: Worcester Daily Double: #1 League Of His Own (Worcester, 2.15pm)

We have two fancies over the jumps in our Monday, June 11: Worcester Daily Double.

The first runs in this novices’ handicap chase and looks an exciting prospect.

League Of His Own is a nine-year-old son of Beneficial and is trained by Tim Vaughan.

He has made a few hurdles starts under rules but is yet to make his chase debut.

However, he has been running well in point-to-points and is definitely one to keep an eye on.

League Of His Own has run in five points for Vaughan this year and won two of them.

He has also finished second twice.

That form will put him bang there here and he has a lovely racing weight.

Also, Harry Reed takes the ride and he is firing at a 22% strike rate.

Monday, June 11: Worcester Daily Double: #2 Dory (Worcester, 4.45pm)

The second leg of our Monday, June 11: Worcester Daily Double goes in this maiden hurdle.

Dory is a five-year-old daughter of Westerner and makes her stable debut for new trainer Ian Williams.

She was formerly trained by Warren Greatrex and looked very promising when winning a bumper last June.

Dory made three runs over hurdles for Greatrex and her best effort was a second at Fakenham.

However, we suspect she will be seen to better effect on good ground.

She will definitely get that here and we reckon she’s the one to beat.

In addition, Tom O’Brien takes the ride.
