The RSA Novice Chase is another race where trainer Willie Mullins has had more winners than any other trainer.

Instead, the Alan King trained Yanworth could be the horse that beats the rest.

The Grade 1 winning hurdler started well over the bigger obstacles and won his first race before falling next time out.

He was beaten at Newbury by Willoughby Court but has since rectified that by winning his most recent race at Cheltenham.

The RSA Novice Chase is a group 1 race over 3 miles, meaning that Yanworth will be stepping up in class for the first time in chase company.

But this multiple Grade 1 winner certainly has the class to win.

Last year’s race should have been straight forward for eventual winner Might Bite.

But he almost threw it away as he pulled himself up on the run in.

He did, however, manage to get back up and beat Whisper narrowly on the line.

Another tight finish could be in order as Anthony Honeyball’s Fountains Windfall should run Yanworth close.

He also won his first race over the fences before falling in two strong races, a Grade 2 and a Grade 1.

However, he recently bounced back by winning the class 2, 32Red.com handicap Chase at Kempton.

A repeat of this performance will make his odds of 10/1 look a huge price.
