There’s not much happening after the international break so this Wednesday, October 11: Spanish Segunda Treble at huge odds should keep you happy!

The first of three away wins in this acca is last year’s La Liga basement boys, Granada, who were famously sunk to the second tier thanks to some David Brent-esqe management techniques from Tony Adams. Adams is no longer in charge and with some Chinese financial clout behind them, they are looking to get back up to La Liga. They travel to Gimnastic who finished in the bottom half of Segunda Division last season and have made a miserable start to this season. The home side are second from bottom with just one win from seven games whilst Granada are on a three game winning streak. At odds of 2/1, it would be rude not to include them in the acca.

Zaragoza have reached official ‘sleeping giant’ status in Spain, with their rich history with La Liga experience and Copa Del Rey wins, a stadium that holds 35,000 and a huge fan-base…they should not be in the second tier of Spanish football. After a pretty dismal 2016/17 season, they find themselves down in the bottom half again but they are starting to string some performances together and beginning to climb the table. A 3-0 win against Numancia last time out illustrated their potential and they are now four games unbeaten. They travel to Lorca who were plying their trade in the division below last season, winning that league and earning promotion to the Segunda Division. They have struggled early on this season, sitting in the relegation zone and with just one win in the last eight games, they are there for the taking.

Sevilla B are rock bottom of the league and without a win. They have mustered three points via two 0-0 draws and a 1-1 draw…thrilling stuff. They host Cadiz who finished in the play-off positions last year and were unlucky not to get promoted to La Liga. They have made a decent start to this season too; winning four of their first eight games and drawing a couple. This should be an away win if Cadiz can replicate their winning form from last season.
