Lugo to win v Corboda (3:00pm)
Valladolid to win v Alcorcon (5:00pm)
Osasuna to win v Albacete (7:00pm)
This Thursday, October 12: Spanish Segunda Treble picks up the scraps before the weekend action returns back to normal after the international break.
Lugo host a Cordoba side that were almost inseparable in the league last season; they conceded the same amount of goals and earned the same number of points. Lugo just pipped Cordoba by scoring seven more goals. This season Lugo are four points ahead of them and have won their last two home games. Cordoba have had three heavy defeats in their last three away games and will struggle to come away with anything from this one.
Alcorcon travel to Valladolid low on confidence having suffered two losses in their last two away trips and sitting down near the relegation zone. Valladolid have won three out of four home games this season and are the leading scorers in the league with 16 from eight games. We reckon they’ve got more than enough to replicate their 2-0 win over Alcorcon last season. In fact, Valladolid haven’t lost to Alcorcon in the last twelve head-to-heads.
Osasuna are looking good for an immediate return to La Liga; top of the league with a watertight defence and scoring their share of goals too. They haven’t lost in the league since their 2-1 defeat away at Leonesa on the second day of the season. They look good to take down an Albacete side who have only won two games this season and have only picked up one point on the road from four games.
