To win the match
A simple bet on which you can back a team to win the match overall which can be tricky especially in shorter format games like t20.
To win the toss
A 50/50 bet on which team will win the coin toss at the beginning of the match. You could always look at previous coin tossing form to see what the trends show!
Man of the match
Placing a bet on which player you believe will be given the man of the match award at the end of the game.
Top team batsman/bowler
Betting on the player you think will score the highest number of runs or take the most wickets for a team. In the event of two or more players ending on an equal number of wickets then the bowler with the least number of runs conceded will be deemed the winner.
Highest opening partnership
You can bet on which team will have the highest number of runs before the first wicket is taken. This is a 3-way market in which you can bet on the home team, away team and a tie).
A fun way to stay on the edge of your seat is to place a bet on how the next wicket will fall. This is usually a six way market: Caught, Bowled, LBW, Run Out, Stumped and Others.
Most match sixes/total match sixes
A fun bet especially in twenty20 matches, you can bet on which team will have the most sixes within the match. Again, this is a 3-way market in which you can bet on the home team, away team and a tie. Or you can bet on total match sixes in an over/under bet.
1st over total
Placing a bet on the number of runs to be scored in the opening over of the match and this normally comes as an over or under bet.
Highest 6 over total
A good bet to keep you interested in the early stages of a game is to bet on which team you expect to have the highest number of runs when they have both played just six overs. This is great when watching it live!
A 50 or 100 to be scored/ runs a batsman will score
Placing a bet on whether you think a player will score 50 runs or above in the match. This is 2-way market where you can bet yes or no. Likewise, you could back a player to score (or not score) 100 runs or above in the match. Or you can bet over/under a specified number of runs for each batsman.
Runs at fall of 1st wicket
This is a 2-way market in which you can bet over or under the amount of runs set by the bookmaker. If no wickets are taken during the match then all bets are void but this is unlikely.
Most run outs (fielding side)
Placing a bet on which team will create the most run outs whilst fielding. This is a 3-way market where you can back on either the home team, away team or a tie.
One for the more advanced gamblers because it involves knowledge of the form and circumstances of the game but it can offer better odds than an outright winner bet. The bookmaker sets a handicap/line for each team.
Placing a bet on the number of runs a particular player will score. This is a 2-way market in which you back over or under the line/number of runs set by the bookmaker.
Race to 10 runs
A easy one for the AccaDoo cricket betting guide. This is just placing a bet on which player you believe will be the first player to make 10 runs or above.
To win outright or win series
Depending on the scenario, you can bet on a team to win the ‘Series’ in which they are competing in or you can back the team to win the tournament/competition.
